3 Online Course Platforms

There are hundreds of websites out there that you could create your course on but it is hard to know which ones are the best for you. Some have amazing grade book software but hard to use creativity tools and others have the exact opposite. However, these three are ones that really do have it all.

1) Teachable

Teachable is a well-known course creator website. There are over 22,000 creators on there working on various courses of their own. Teachable prices range from free to $299 a month depending on your needs. Their free plan still has a $1.10 charge for each transaction but in the grand scheme of things that is not much.

Most people tend to use their Pro Plan that is about $120 a month. This plan has no transaction charges, can have 5 admins, has self-grading quizzes, and customized course certificates. This gives all who use it a great deal of customizability and a great price range!

2) Skillshare

Skillshare is great for those just starting in the online course creation world. It is very easy to work with and a very well-known name. It is free to sign up and start to create your course. This means that if you just want to get experience or try it out without putting any money on the line this may be the perfect site for you.

However, in order to make any money off of your course, you have to have a minimum of 25 students. Once you get at least 25 students then you will start to make around $2 per person that joins your course. This is a site that you need to work to get money back, but it is great for beginners who are just figuring it out.

3) Udemy

If you have looked into online courses you most likely have seen the site Udemy popping up. Udemy gives course creators a lot of instruction on how to create their courses and market it to others. This could help you succeed if you are someone who is unsure of exactly where to start.

Udemy is free to create on, and if you do get students then you get 97% of the profits! If you are able to market effectively then Udemy is the site for you to get as much income as possible.

Creating a course can be a confusing process but all three of these websites have great guidance and help you throughout. They are websites that want you to succeed just as much as you want to succeed.
