3. It’s not a business if it’s not making money. There are things we love doing and opportunities we take to get our foot in the door, but at some point you should be making money. Ask yourself “How will this make me money?”

4. Have a large vision but start small. Better to underpromise and overdeliver. Launching everything at once is going to break you and it’s not good for business.

6. Always ask yourself how am I adding value? Most people don’t care about you but they sure care about themselves! What are you doing to add value to their lives and how often are you doing it?

7. Don’t be desperate. There are times when entrepreneurs need money to pay bills and you need it now! Trying to do quick sales and pressuring people to buy is ony going to drive them away.

8. Scared money don’t make money. It’s okay to invest in free resources but at some point you’re going to have to invest in paid resources and mentors. Do it in moderation if that’s what your budget allows.

9. Believe in your dream even when the first few haters come. There are some people who are going to say things about you and your business. It’s up to you to hustle and hustle hard for your dream and vision. Prove just how bad you want and deserve this.

10. Invest in a good mentor. Buy their books, read their blogs, sign up for their newsletter. Getting educated in your field will save you so much time and energy. Your time is a precious commodity you can’t get back. Use it wisely by getting focused with mentors.
